La Paz is one of the most unusual cities I have ever visited. Traditionally dressed "campesinos" walk alongside teens with MP3 players. Old traditions seem to live comfortably with new office buildings. This market sells everything from dried llama fetuses, which bring good luck to new businesses, to a variety of offerings to Pachamamma, mother earth.
