Sorting and washing and stuff

From Hey... You've got weasles on your face.:

Got through classes today unscathed. My profs are allowing me to leave my phone on vibrate in case I get the call to come in to the shelter. My hours available don't conflict with classes, but I haven't gotten the call to get my schedule yet, so I want to be able to speak to my Supervisor rather than get a voicemail message and play phone tag.

Sorting through my clothes and stuff I had set aside for Goodwill. I've got some household goods that I'm going to take to the apartment complex that's putting up apartments for several displaced families, I have clothes for WorldCare, cages for small pets (not sure how many that aren't dogs or cats, but hey... I'd want to rescue all my pets) for the Humane Society. Heh, it's like spring cleaning, but the cleaned out stuff won't sit in my laundry room for 6 months until I get sick of it and give it away on Freecycle!

The folks who funded my trip to Bolivia want a real report. Apparently my updates about culture and lifestyle weren't enough. I'm going to modify my final exam essay about my evaluation of the Bolivia gas debate and send that out with a few intro chapters about methodologies and means for Conflict Resolution and Mediation.

I have an infection in my jaw and ear from my broken wisdom tooth. Now is the time when I really REALLY wish we had socialized medicine. It's going to cost my dad a small fortune to get my teeth fixed, and I have to go get antibiotics first to clear out the infection.
On top of that, my blood pressure is through the roof, so I'm modifying my diet to low fat, low sodium foods on top of the wheat/oat/rye/barley free, low carb, no sugar diet I'm already on, and as of tomorrow, I'm off coffee. Green tea for breakfast. Woohoo. I do have some Coca tea left, maybe that'll help keep off the caffine headaches and energy drain from coffee detox.
So I'm foregoing the sugar free diet and starting to take in fresh fruit, especially bananas... apparently potassium helps lower blood pressure.
I feel like I'm on the verge of some physical breakdown. I have to do everything I can to stop it.

Thorin just called, he's headed over to volunteer at the shelter (being out of work with no prospects gives a guy a little time on his hands until he enlists). I'm probably going to meet him for coffee after, which means I need to hang laundry and get a load of dishes done.

I know, I still haven't talked about this weekend.
