Yesterday Troy and I spent the whole day shopping for The Evil SUV of Doom. Found a few things, but nothing to settle on. The one Troy was ready to settle on we took for a test drive and it chugged along. It'll need repair and we don't have the money for that.
Today was supposed to be a household picnic but with gas prices going up and my pending trip to Bolivia sucking up summer time to get things organized, I had to make a choice. So because of time and money, I chose to go up Mt. Lemmon tomorrow with my parents to visit Spencer and Kirsten. Old family friends. Spencer has cancer and dad doesn't think he'll last very long. I should spend time with him. I know my friends will be here when I get back. Sorry I couldn't do both, but lots to do this weekend and next weekend and I had only alotted one day out of the weekend to goof off.

Today I'm going over to WalMart and picking up new luggage. They've got a set for $30 that should be sufficient for my needs. Then I need to start packing the winter-type stuff like sweaters (the jeans and t-shirts will be last), make my lists of things to pack, like my travel insurance and passport, and Pear the Boar (who looks amazingly like Pumba from Lion King) who will be photographed on this trip. I picked up two sweaters from Speedway Outlet (2nd hand store) for $1.98 each. Gorgeous almost new sweaters in my size. I'm quite happy with them.

I tried to start my 6 min excercise regime and was promptly attacked by a dog. The minute I got on the floor to do pushups, leg lifts, or crunchies, Banshee decided I was being silly and needed my face cleaned. I got about 4 min in before I was drenched in dog slobber and gave up.
I'll do more later today.
