My name is Martin Walsh and I am the Hand Therapist for the Hand Surgical Team here in La Paz, Bolivia. The team arrived today Sunday April 10 early in the morning. Most of us had been traveling all day Saturday as well as Saturday night to La Paz. We were greeted at the airport by our host Surgeon Dr. Jorge Tarazas who escorted the team on a short but beautiful descent into the city of La Paz at sunrise. The city of La Paz is surrounded my mountains and our first view of the city at sunrise was breathtaking.
